JM Science hydrophilic PTFE syringe filters are designed for both aqueous and organic sample preparation where broad chemical compatibility is required.

Unlike standard hydrophobic PTFE membranes, hydrophilic PTFE is specially treated to allow direct filtration of water-based solutions without pre-wetting.

These filters provide excellent chemical resistance, low extractables, and reliable particle retention — ideal for HPLC, GC, and mixed solvent systems.

Hydrophilic PTFE membranes allow direct filtration of aqueous solutions without alcohol pre-wetting.

For purely aggressive non-polar solvents, consider Hydrophobic PTFE.

For high protein recovery or biological samples, consider PES or PVDF membranes.

For aqueous samples, protein-containing solutions, or biological media, consider:
