Compatibility Note
Hydrophilic PTFE membranes allow direct filtration of aqueous solutions without alcohol pre-wetting.
For purely aggressive non-polar solvents, consider Hydrophobic PTFE.
For high protein recovery or biological samples, consider PES or PVDF membranes.
For aqueous samples, protein-containing solutions, or biological media, consider:
• Nylon – general purpose aqueous/organic
• PES – low protein binding aqueous filtration
