Description

OPTIZEN POP chooses our unique high resolving power wavelength measurement mechanism.

OPTIZEN POP Series are single-beam type spectrophotometers and offer stable performance and compact-size and reasonable price to the users. The series are categorized into POP, POP-S and POP-V according to the specification of the products.

OPTIZEN POP-V offers four measurement modes (Photometric Mode, Quantitative Mode, Spectrum Mode, Kinetics Mode).

The user can choose a suitable mode depending on the purpose to measure.

The embedded S/W, touch screen interface and application facilitate the use of the device.

  • Offering a help service with a graphic type.
  • Easily and quickly call up the information that is being measured or analyzed by registering it in you favorites.
  • Link it with PC by using OPTIZEN VIEW.
  • The measurement is possible in the optimal condition by checking the equipment’s operation time, lamp warm up condition and accumulated using time in real time.
  • The measurement monitoring is possible through choosing cell type without entering a mode and easily checking the current cell condition is possible through a change cell type icon according to the cell type condition or position.

    Mode Descriptions

    Photometric Mode
    • This mode allows easy measurement of absorbance (Abs) (or transmittance (%T)) at a specific wavelength.
    • You can set the factor (K) value, enabling simple quantitative analysis (C = K × A) of samples that are known only by absorbance (Abs) measurements.
    • Up to 8 wavelengths can be set, and the absorbance at each wavelength is automatically measured.
    • Using a multi-cell holder, automatic analysis of up to 7 samples is possible.

    Quantitation Mode
    • This mode utilizes the multi-cell holder to measure and manage calibration curves.
    • Quantitative analysis of target samples can be performed using a calibration curve constructed with up to 7 samples of different concentrations.
    • Four types of calibration curves are available: Linear (Zero-crossing), Linear, Quadratic, and Cubic.
    • Accurate calibration curves can be constructed using results that are measured up to 5 times.
    Calibration Manager
    • Through the Calibration Manager, you can use features such as selecting, creating, modifying, and deleting standard curves, as well as importing and exporting external Quantitation Mode files from external storage space.

    Spectrum Mode
    • This mode allows users to view the spectrum of the desired wavelength range.
    • Data conversion between absorbance (Abs) and transmittance (%T) is possible through shortcut keys.
    • Automatic spectrum analysis of up to 7 samples (excluding reference sample) is possible.
    • This mode includes features such as spectral zooming and finding the peak/valley positions in a spectrum.
    Kinetics Mode
    • It is a mode that allows you to monitor the absorption (or transmittance) changes over time at a specific wavelength.
    • It measures the absorbance (or transmittance) changes over time at a specific wavelength, and measurements are taken at regular time intervals. The minimum interval that can be set is 1 second.
    • During the measurement, the progress rate is displayed, and measurement can be done up to a maximum of 24 hours.
    • You can automatically acquire the absorbance changes of up to 7 samples.
According to the measurement range and conditions, the minimum measurement interval may be adjusted.
