Description
Product description
GFS Watermark 1 mg/mL Stable Non-Hygroscopic Karl Fischer Titrant is a low-strength volumetric Karl Fischer titrant for moisture determination in compatible laboratory samples. The 1 mg/mL concentration is useful when lower water levels, smaller sample sizes, or finer titration control are required.
This product is a Karl Fischer titrant only and is intended for use with a compatible KF solvent or buffer system. It should not be described as a single-solution reagent. According to GFS Chemicals, this titrant must be used with KF Solvent 1609, 1610, or Buffer 1615.
The stable, non-hygroscopic formulation is designed to support consistent titer strength and reliable volumetric Karl Fischer analysis. The GFS Watermark line includes multiple Karl Fischer reagent formats and titer strengths for different moisture analysis requirements.
For samples containing aldehydes, ketones, or other reactive compounds, confirm reagent and solvent compatibility before analysis. Standard Karl Fischer reagent systems may be affected by side reactions and can produce inaccurate water results if the wrong reagent system is used.
Feature bullets

Technical note / caution
Important: This product is a Karl Fischer titrant and must be used with a compatible KF solvent or buffer. It should not be presented as a stand-alone single-solution reagent. Aldehydes and ketones may interfere with conventional Karl Fischer analysis unless the correct reagent system is selected.
