The 6 mm path length flow cell has been optimised for lower-dispersion LC analysis and is the perfect choice when using narrow bore, 2.1 mm or micro bore, 1 mm columns. The 3 mm path length is the choice for semi prep LC to avoid detector saturation at high-solute concentrations.
